Trevor Kleckner stands at the helm of the Charlotte Rush Elite team, bringing a wealth of experience, dedication, and a proven track record of success both on and off the ice. As the Elite Head Coach, Kleckner’s journey through the ranks of hockey—from a championship-winning player to a strategic coach—illustrates his deep commitment to the sport and his exceptional ability to lead and develop young talent.

Coach Kleckner’s coaching career with the Rush saw him initially taking the role of Assistant Coach, where he contributed significantly to both the Premier and Elite teams. His insights, dedication, and impact were quickly recognized, leading to his well-deserved elevation to Head Coach at the Elite level. Prior to his tenure with the Rush, Kleckner sharpened his coaching acumen at Arcadia University, where he served as Assistant Coach, further solidifying his expertise in nurturing athletes at the NCAA Division III level.

As a forward for the Charlotte Rush for two seasons, he not only led the team to a National Championship but also exemplified leadership and perseverance as the team’s Captain in his final season. Following his remarkable stint with the Rush, Kleckner continued to pursue excellence on the ice at Bryn Athyn and later at Robert Morris University, competing at the NCAA Division III level and concluding his player career in the ACHA D1 league.

Coach Kleckner’s transition from a driven player to a dedicated coach embodies the spirit of continuous improvement and passion for the game. His firsthand experience of the athlete’s journey provides him with a unique perspective that he leverages to mentor and inspire the next generation of youth hockey players.
