Tristan McAuliffe Drafted In The NCDC!

Charlotte, NC – Carolina Premier Hockey (CPH) is thrilled to announce that Tristan McAuliffe has been drafted in The Phase 1 Draft of the NCDC. Tristan was selected in the 6th round, pick number 102, by a team from Casper, Wyoming.

Tristan is a Left Shot Defenseman, that has been part of CPH for the last 4 seasons. A key member on the 15UAAA (2008 birth year) team this past season. Tristan has a very high IQ when it comes to the game of Hockey. A player who is a tremendous skater that could skate and compete at any level he plays. Tristan is very dedicated and puts in lots of work towards his hockey development. Tristan was a Charlotte Rush practice player during the 2023 – 2024 season while playing for CPH. Taking advantage of this tremendous opportunity to practice at the junior level, Tristan would make the most of it where he would finish the season playing 5 games for the Charlotte Rush Elite team in the NCDC.

“First and Foremost Tristan is a tremendous kid. He is a favorite amongst all CPH youth players in the way he treats and interacts with our young CPH players. As a player Tristan is an Elite skater that has a very good skill base and a tremendous work ethic. Tristan does not take a shift or practice rep off. He is always working to get better and improve. With many teams putting an emphasis on puck moving offensive defenseman, Tristan has the potential to have a lot of success within hockey.”

Carolina Premier Hockey extends its heartiest congratulations and best wishes for success to Tristan and his family! We look forward to him continuing to grow in his development process to ultimately reach the highest levels possible.
