Professional On Ice Afternoon Development Sessions!

CPH will be offering an afternoon development session over the course of the 2024 – 2025 season.

Players that are currently doing home school, online school, or go to a Brick-and-Mortar school but have the ability to leave early. This is the perfect opportunity for you! On Ice Sessions will be open to players from all age groups and all associations.

On Ice Development Sessions will be instructed by development coaches with years of experience developing players off all ages at all different levels of hockey.

On Ice Development Coaches For The Sessions Will Be:

Ryan Cruthers – Ryan is the President of Carolina Premier Hockey and the current Head Coach of the Fayetteville Marksmen in the SPHL and the Owner of The Charlotte Rush of the USPHL. Ryan has played at the NCAA Division 1 college hockey level. He played Professional for over 8 years before starting his coaching career. Going into his 11th year of coaching, he has had coaching jobs in the NCAA Division 1, USHL, NAHL, USPHL, ECHL, and the SPHL.

Troy Schwab – Troy is an Executive Director for Carolina Premier Hockey. Troy played 6 years of Professional Hockey after completing 4 years at the NCAA Division 1 level. When retiring from playing hockey, Troy embarked on a coaching career that started in the ECHL and would lead him to the Charlotte Rush in the USPHL.

Chris Cosentino – Chris grew up playing youth hockey in New York. He played for New York Apple Core in the EJHL on his way to playing division 3 college hockey. As a coach, Chris would start coaching with the New York Apple Core in the EJHL. Chris would become the Head coach of New York University for 10 years leading NYU to multiple National Championships. Chris has experience as a development coach, skating coach, hockey director, and runs an organization called the game 7 mindset helping athletes around the mental side of the game.

Justin Fisher – Justin is currently a development coach for CPH. He is also an assistant coach with the Charlotte Rush in the USPHL. Justin comes to CPH after being an assistant coach in the NAHL with the Austin Bruins for the previous 3 seasons. Justin played junior hockey before playing for Adrian College.
