Cade Kinnear Drafted in The USHL Phase 1 Draft!

Charlotte, NC – Carolina Premier Hockey (CPH) is thrilled to announce that Cade Kinnear has been drafted in The Phase 1 Draft of the USHL. Cade was selected by the Sioux Falls Stampede in Round 10, pick 141. This was the Stampedes 8th selection in the 2024 draft and they used that pick on the Left Shot, C, Cade Kinnear.

Sioux Falls Stampede Head Coach and CPH President Ryan Cruthers had this to say: “Cade has dedicated himself to development from the minute he started with CPH. His improvement over the years has put him at an elite level. He has earned this opportunity at the highest level of junior hockey, and it excites me that I can continue to help him develop to reach his goals.

Cade Kinnear has been part of CPH for the last 3 years. He was the Leading Scorer and Captain of the 15UAAA team during the 2023 – 2024 season. A key member of a very talented 15UAAA team, that had a very good year development wise with great team success and a lot of individual success.

“Cade is an outstanding person and teammate. He is extremely talented, has an elite release on his shot, and has very high Hockey IQ”. Said Troy Schwab, Executive Director of CPH. “Cade takes part in all of CPH’s development sessions. He never takes a day off, shift off, or a rep off. His hard work, desire to want to get better, and great attitude has allowed him to earn these opportunities.”
