Coach Kleckner’s coaching career with the Rush saw him initially taking the role of Assistant Coach, where he contributed significantly to both the Premier and Elite teams. His insights, dedication, and impact were quickly recognized, leading to his well-deserved elevation to Head Coach at the Elite level. Prior to his tenure with the Rush, Kleckner sharpened his coaching acumen at Arcadia University, where he served as Assistant Coach, further solidifying his expertise in nurturing athletes at the NCAA Division III level.
Kleckner’s own playing career laid the groundwork for his coaching philosophy. As a forward for the Charlotte Rush for two seasons, he not only led the team to a National Championship but also exemplified leadership and perseverance as the team’s Captain in his final season. Following his remarkable stint with the Rush, Kleckner continued to pursue excellence on the ice at Bryn Athyn and later at Robert Morris University, competing at the NCAA Division III level and concluding his player career in the ACHA D1 league.
