A New York native, Gino would play youth hockey in the Syracuse area. Looking to play junior hockey, Ginos first stop would be with the Rochester Monarchs in the USPHL. The following season he would come to Charlotte and play for the Charlotte Rush. After two years in Charlotte, Gino would go on to play NCAA Division 3 hockey for SUNY-Canton. He finished his playing career and received his college degree at SUNY-Canton.
Gino joined CPH during the 2024 – 2025 season. Having relocated back to Charlotte for work, Gino was looking to get involved in youth hockey and joined CPH as a development coach.
