Anthony began his youth hockey career playing for the greater New York Stars organization. Anthony Spent most of his childhood skating for the Stars before making the jump to AAA for his 18U years where he played for the New Jersey Rockets and Jersey Hitmen. From there Anthony would play his junior hockey for Coach Cruthers, skating for the Charlotte Rush of the USPHL and the Corpus Christi IceRays of the North American Hockey League. Anthony would go on to play NCAA division 3 hockey at Aurora University where he graduated with a degree in communication. Anthony signed his first professional contract with the Fayetteville Marksmen of the SPHL. During his first year pro, Anthony had the opportunity to spend time with the Reading Royals in the ECHL.
Anthony has been making the transition from playing to coaching over the last couple months as he has been on the ice coaching during CPH Pre-tryout Clinics and Summer Sessions.
As a player Anthony was an extremely hard worker, with a high Hockey IQ, great shot, and was always one of the best skaters on the ice. We are looking forward to him passing on his knowledge to the players within CPH over the next season. You can look for Anthony to take an enhanced role as a power skating coach within CPH.
